Nice mid range Restaurant in Auckland City?

My Daughter and Nephew are in Auckland for a week as part of their Gap Year, they want to book a reasonable restaurant for Saturday as a leaving meal but are having no luck searching on their phones, hostel is proving unhelpful so I turn to the omni-present PH!
Main course circa $25NZ close to Queen St if poss.

Tanuki's cave is good for Japanese. The places around the viaduct basin can be Ok, but sometimes overpriced for what they are. Some of the places in the Elliot Stables complex are ok too.

I'm sure a local will be along shortly. The above is just what I've found on my semi-regular trips to akl.

Tanuki's Cave is really good - I'm a little fuzzy on budgets though. Cool experience too being underground.

Prego in ponsonby is good but probably a little over budget
