Antwerp - where to eat and stay
Discussion
Hi John.
Plenty of good restaurants in the main shopping street (from the Keyserlei (close to the central station) to the Groenplaatsand) and especially around the old market square. (This long shopping street is like a long, pedestrianised Oxford Street).
We stayed at the Radisson Blu here - http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g188636-... - was really good.
However, this post was to let you know that if you have a car with you, then this place is a good 1/2 day out (and free). I'm not into modern art in the slightest, but actually found it interesting - http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g1886...
Also, have a wander down this street in the outskirts of town - some really lovely buildings http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g18...
The Central railway station is also worth seeing.
Have a great time. (Oh, and if you are driving then look out for the millions of speed and traffic light cameras...!!)
