Amsterdam

I've spent a few days and nights in Amsterdam over the last few years and the red light district can be decidedly seedy (I guess it's not a surprise, but it is touted as a 'tourist attraction') at night.

The prostitutes attract their fair share of hard drug dealers, pickpockets and junkies.

Not somewhere I'd choose to go on a holiday, personally, but it's certainly an experience.
