My suggestions:

1. Clarke Quay after 9pm - Nice bars and theres a reverse bungee too
2. A day at Santosa Island, with a visit to Universal Studios. They have a Zip wire, which is fun, but expensive. There is a nice beach and the luge is great
3. An Afternoon in China town with walks along Temple Street and Mosque Street
4. Night Safari
5. Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay and a tour around Marina Bay Sands with Cocktails on the roof top bar
6. Drinks at the Post bar at the Fullerton Hotel, dinner at Boat Quay and then back to the Fullerton Bay Hotel Bar
7. Orchard Road Shopping
8. Orchard Towers, if your other half is ok with it. There are some great bars and the girls there will leave you alone and it very safe. Out the back is Harrys BAr, Claymore street?, its excellent with a great in house band, really 5 star.
9. Dinner at Dempsey Hill, there is a fantastic Thai resturant called Tawandang with entertainment, which is cool.
8. Rent a bike and follow the coast road towards Changi, see all the ships in the harbor
9. Go to a Hawker Centre, local food, creat and cheap. I have never got an upset stomach in SIN
10. Drinks at the New Asia Bar at the top of the Swiss Hote

Thats all I can think of.
Excellent summary. Agreed.

Wouldn't waste the money on the Singapore Flyer if you are planning to go to the roof of Marina Bay Sands, the views are better and it is actually higher.

Orchard Towers is not a place I'd be taking any wife/girlfriend to, it's just not a pleasant night out unless you like Asian hookers - and not in a fun way like you'd find in the bars in Phuket etc.

I spent 2 weeks in Singapore and contrary to most of the above posts didn't think it was too long! Some of the things we got up to:

- take a boat trip to bintan or batam for a spa day or a round of golf
- visit the multi-level driving range at night
- visit sentosa island, take the cable car over, go to universal studios
- ride the Singapore flyer
- hike to the top of Bukit Timah, it's a rainforest in the City and you'll see lots of wildlife including monkeys following you around
- do the night safari at the zoo
- wander around Chinatown, visit the amazing temples
- Clarke Quay at night for food and drinks
- shopping on Orchard St
- go to any one of many hawker centres at night and eat good cheap food with some locals
- hire a bike and cycle along the beachfront, stop for some giant Tiger beers along the way
- go to an early morning food market to experience where the locals buy their fresh food (I can recommend Bedok)
- visit the old prison
- find a restaurant the locals go to and go for dim sum

Singapore is such a safe place and the public transport system is clean, safe, cheap and frequent - we bought the pass for the public transport system (top up if you use all your credits) and took the MRT and buses to every area of the Island, there's loads to see and do if you can be bothered! We DIDN'T have a Singapore sling in raffles, we didn't have time smile
