Villa in Menorca

Any recommendations on a villa in Menorca?

We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids; 11, 4 and 2) looking for 2 weeks in a villa with it's own private pool. Doesn't need to be near a beach but walking distance (max 20 mins) to restaurants and a shop is a must. 10th of August onwards for 2 weeks.

I have fond memories of Cala'n Porter as a kid but that was 20 years plus so I'm sure it's changed.

Looking at ownersdirect.co.uk to do it direct but open to other suggestions of where to look.

Does it have to be Menorca?

We spent a few years going there when our lad was first born, but then changed to Pollenca in Mallorca, which, IMO, is much much nicer (especially in the old town of Pollenca, rather than Puerto Pollenca).

If Menorca is the only option, Cal n Porter is still nice (or at least it was 5 years or so ago), although it does tend to get a bit of a jellyfish infestation later on in the season.

Doesn't have to be Menorca, we're open to ideas. Requirements are:

• Aug 12th onwards for 2 weeks
• Guaranteed sun
• Private pool
• Enough rooms to fit in 3 kids and 2 adults
