Rather than questioning the sanity behind spending £9.99 for 3 logs to burn in the middle of a forest, shouldn't you be questioning the sanity of going to one of those god awful places in the first instance?
Yeah I know, but I didn't choose it.It's a family thing, and sometimes it's just easier to go with the flow!
One of the other guys coming with us likes a drink so we can enjoy a beer or 3 while the ladies take the kids on the slides.
Possibly by the fire.....

Fair enough! As you say, sometimes it's best to just go with the flow and get enjoy a beer in peace!!!!It's a family thing, and sometimes it's just easier to go with the flow!

I'm done with the UK parcs. But the one in Holland which is no further away, half the price, chav free, and has an indoor real snow ski centre; much better
I don't recall those fake logs either over there. Can't see the dutch putting up with that nonsense.
The one at Zandvoort certainly had the logs, so much so that when we went to the Center Parcs near the Nurburgring, I packed a box full. German Center Parcs have no open fire !!I don't recall those fake logs either over there. Can't see the dutch putting up with that nonsense.
We're trying a brand new one this summer, near Saarbrucken, opens 1st July, we're there first week in August <crosses fingers>

My last holiday was at Sandy Balls () and that makes Centreparcs look like something really special!
