Going To Ibiza with a 2 year old
Discussion
better off going to cornwall / blackpool / insert any beach here with a 2 yr old.
they wont remember or care about the difference, and you get to enjoy being stressed about foreign kidnappers lurking in every bush.
oh yeah.. other travelers get to enjoy the shrieking screams of a child in an airplane... oh how travelers love that one!

Not all children do that and to be honest, I'd rather a plane full of kids than a plane full of people like you. (I'm not sure if that sounds slightly criminal....;) )they wont remember or care about the difference, and you get to enjoy being stressed about foreign kidnappers lurking in every bush.

At least kids don't smell of BO, alcohol or fags nor are they so selfish as to put headphones on and recline the seat in your lap.
Also worth bearing in mind that kids over 2 pay for their seats just like you.
oh how i utterly despise having the seat reclined on me!!!!
i make sure the prick knows of my displeasure and experiences similar levels of discomfort until the seat is put back!! ( why the hell do airline / coach seat recline anyway ? )
never had the opportunity to enjoy a BO stinky sitting next to me.. but im sure i'd also make my displeasure very vocal lol
I do have kids ( 7yr's old now ).. but when they were that young i opted for ferry's instead. soo uch more space and freedom and a cabin too
just FYI .. ive never actually said anything to the parents of kids that are screaming and shrieking on the plane, as more often than not they look bloody stressed and upset that their child is upset.
im sure i would have a different opinion if i flew easyjet with the chav hoards lol

No worries. I get where you're coming from but while my children occasionally suffer with cabin pressure, we keep lollies and sweets handy. Mints help too. Staying in this country isn't an option with our weather.
The problem with "Ibeetsa" is most of the hordes going there tend to act like 2 year olds....
In my experience, Mallorca should be the number one destination for families (and I've been on lots of holidays).

OK I'm biased as I spend a lot of time there but please don't get put off - the only area with real issues is San Antonio which is to be avoided like the plague. The north of the island where you are staying is beautiful with lots of countryside, fantastic small calas and some great restaurants. Hire a car for the whole holiday becuase San Miguel is not the best place, having been ruined by a couple of big hotels but there is a great fish restaurant on the beach. Nearby is Benirras where they have a tradition on Sundays of drumming the sunset - very entertaining.
Santa Gertrudis which is only five minutes away is a beautiful village with loads of restaurants and bars and San Carlos has the famous hippy market on Saturdays. For a good lunch try Atzaro at Cala Nova - good food, really nice beach and good music.
If you want to look at boats, the new Marina Ibiza is the place - .
If the worst comes to the worst there are some great baby-sitting services!
