Monaco Historic GP 2014 - Where to Stay?

We are thinking of doing the Monaco Historic next year, staying just outside Monaco and getting the train in. I have been looking at either Villefranche, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin or Menton. Can anybody recommend any of these places over the others or have any comments regarding any of them? Looking for somewhere with some decent restaurants and bars to spend some time in the evening.

Nice is nice. Awash with bars and restaurants and an easy train ride into Monaco.
