Planning on a weekend break in North Wales, visit Snowdonia and a beach etc etc.

Have a budget of about 140 a night and hoping to get somewhere that has a Jacuzzi bath/hot tub in the room. Was recommended the Venetia in Abersoch and Castle Conwy Hotel but both are fully booked.

Any suggestions?

It wasn't this weekend, 1st weekend in september. Ffynnon is fully booked, does have a room called MyFanny though!

Any other recommendations along the same lines?

My first suggestion would have been the castle hotel Conwy, we spent our honeymoon there. What about Bodysgallen Hall or Groes Inn - both are near Conwy, not sure about prices though.

Everything suggested here is fully booked. Is it the national sheepshagging festival that weekend, grrrrrrr.

Apart from Bodygallen which is about double my budget.

Bodysgallen Hall is really lovely. Any deals going that might bring it into budget? Worth asking them?

Not bad but usually book there off season and get a good rate.

Few in the above, list changes from time to time.

Bulls Head Beumaris, good food to boot.

Or the Premier Inn at Bangor....... wink

Try The Quay at Deganwy or Osbourne House at Llandudno, both have great restaurants!

I've stayed at Seiont Manor, albeit a couple of years ago. It wasn't good. The room (the junior suite in the pictures although it looks like they've changed the curtains) was dirty and tired, and the swimming pool and changing areas were pretty much the same... It was not the romantic break it should have been, and it would need a serious refurb before I'd consider going back.

Treffedian just outside Aberdovey.

http://www.trefwales.com/

doing deals for September and October.

Aberdovey is within walking distance and the beach is 10 mins walk across the golf course.

Great crabbing off the pier and you can chill out on the balcony with a pint at the Brittania.

Pale Hall in Llandderfel near Bala is an amazing place. One suite has a big old Jacuzzi in the room. A budget of £140 won't get you that, though, sorry. But recommended as a place to go for a special treat when you don't mind splashing out a bit.

Tried Castle Conwy again and they now have a room so guess someone cancelled. Looked at the last two mentioned but needed jackets and ties for dinner. No thanks.

You'll see The Quay from the Conwy side of the river, the restaurant there is very good, if not cheap!
