Got 2 boys doing GCSE and A levels next summer so looking to take advantage of them finishing before school hols to do a mega holiday.

Looking to do about 4 days in Hong Kong & 10 days in Japan in the last 2 weeks of July.

Started looking at flights online for 4 adults, and it's a bit of a nightmare.

LHR to Japan works out about £820/return each. But LHR to HK single is about £450, HK to Tokyo single about £250 and Tokyo back to LHR is about £2200!!!

So thinking about not booking it independently myself but getting a good travel agent to sort out flights, accommodation, the lot.

Anyone recommend a good agent who specialises in the far east who could sort all this out at a cost that is manageable!!! I know it's not going to be cheap, but I've set a budget £10K for the 4 of us which I hope will cover everything.

Approach STA and Flight Centre and play them off each other, it will take a while but will be worth it. I spent a good few weeks negotiating with the two for flights to Kenya then onto Tanzania and then Zanzibar. Ended up knocking nearly 60% off the prices they were both quoting at the start.

Try this on Virgin:

Hope the link works, if not cut and paste it.

You can fly from London - HK and then Tokyo - London for about £850. You would then of course need to book the flight from HK - Tokyo separately.
