Looking to stay a couple of nights in the Rheims/Epernay area next June en route to Italy.

Fancy staying in a hotel/b&b linked to a champagne producer, does anyone have any recommendations based on past experiences?

Budget would be max of £150 per night for the accommodation with food and drink on top.

Mrs 1/2p and I stayed at the Best Western "Hotel de la Paix" a few years ago - highly recommend it.

Has reasonable parking available, and a nice bar and restaurant.

We stayed at Aupres de l'eglise in the small village of Oyes for two nights last July and couldn't recommend it highly enough. It's a fantastic house owned by a NZ couple Mike and Glenis, who themselves took it over from an artist friend of theirs. The house is normally rented out as a Villa but there is also B&B accommodation. All the rooms are well appointed and full or character. They also live on site and can offer tonnes of advice on producers to visit.

They also cook the most amazing meals once or twice a week for €35 per head for whoever is staying including endless amounts of champagne and wine.

No affiliation other than having stayed there and will definitely be back!
