London hotel - Romance, Central 2 nights up to £600 - where?
Discussion
Hi all,
as said elsewhere, looking to book 2 night weekend end of November for me and Mrs AA
Want somewhere central, romantic, good service for max £600 (inc breakfast!) ideally with a view but no big shakes on that so long as room, service and food are up to scratch
Any suggestions from the PHM?
Thanks

The Charlotte Street Hotel is a favourite of ours. No view but a lovely place. Around £300 a night, great breakfast, cocktail bar, guests honesty bar, lovely rooms. We have stayed a few time and it's been flawless each time. Actually staying there on the 29th Nov for our anniversary.
I also like the Soho Hotel - Same group as the above, very trendy. Cool rooms, great service. A bit more expensive than the Charlotte street I think.
Normally I look for good hotels via Mr and Mrs Smith. Not the cheapest but for better quality places the website is well done and helps the filtering.

I like The Rookery or its sister hotel Hazlitt's in Soho.
Infact I'm off there this weekend for about the 10th time!
You'll get a superior double room at the weekend for about £250 a night. Nice honesty bar you can have guests in too.

My husband booked us in to the Athenaeum hotel for our anniversary.
Which was perfect.
We were upgraded to an apartment which had its own kitchen, lounge and dining room and was pure luxury.
