Inspiration needed...

I need inspiration. We had planned to book a family holiday to Sri Lanka in Feb / March next year. It would have been a mix of holiday and visiting my wife’s family (many of whom live there). However for various reasons that’s looking unlikely. So if you had a family of 4 (two adults, one child, one infant) and a budget of say £3k - £3.5k, where would you go for 7-12 days? We want warmth, and plenty to keep the kids busy.
All ideas are welcome.
