Christmas markets
Discussion
Off to the innsbruck market again tonight (and tomorrow) after work. All 5 of them are now open.
We visited the one at Hungergurg on Friday, quite nice for the views during sunset, but only 4-5 stalls up there. Its enough to go for a couple of drinks, and our ski pass covered the bahn from city centre.
We had a good dump of snow over the last few days, and its going to continue this week looking at the forecast. Its very pretty right now, so enjoy!!
...and a lovely 991 outside the Penz!

Just got back from Maastricht this morning.
I can report that Maastricht is very very nice indeed.
The Christmas bit in the square is actually very small - a fraction the size of Cologne (or Gunchester for that matter), however it's got a big wheel and a skating ring. However this doesn't really matter as there's loads of lovely shops and bars (most with toasty outside heaters - I'm talking eat your meal outside on a Saturday at 10pm type toasty here) and of course lots of Trappust beer and gluhwein.
