Off to the innsbruck market again tonight (and tomorrow) after work. All 5 of them are now open.
We visited the one at Hungergurg on Friday, quite nice for the views during sunset, but only 4-5 stalls up there. Its enough to go for a couple of drinks, and our ski pass covered the bahn from city centre.

We had a good dump of snow over the last few days, and its going to continue this week looking at the forecast. Its very pretty right now, so enjoy!!

...and a lovely 991 outside the Penz!

The snow has started here in Munich aswell. So if anyone is coming to Munich markets, its proper wintery now.

So, thanks for all the comments. It transpired that we couldn't get my work, my lady's work and the airmiles all to line up together. So we never made it frown

Just got back from Maastricht this morning.

I can report that Maastricht is very very nice indeed.

The Christmas bit in the square is actually very small - a fraction the size of Cologne (or Gunchester for that matter), however it's got a big wheel and a skating ring. However this doesn't really matter as there's loads of lovely shops and bars (most with toasty outside heaters - I'm talking eat your meal outside on a Saturday at 10pm type toasty here) and of course lots of Trappust beer and gluhwein.
