Recommendations for 2 weeks away Now

I'm looking for inspiration here. I want to go away somewhere tomorrow for 2 weeks. Probably just me but maybe also my Cousin if he makes up his mind.

I've tried clicking round the standard websites and they all ask for a location first. I dont have a location in mind.

I just want some heat but not 40 degrees.
Pleasant surroundings.
Things to do - no yoga or meditation.
Probably a Beech to entice my cousin but not essential for me.

Canaries will have decent beach weather but by no means guaranteed. Even Southern Spain will be more like a British summer at this time of year even though the area round Almeria is officially classed as desert based on low rainfall. Very picturesque area though, along the coast and a good base for striking over the mountains and spending a day at the Alhambra Palace in Granada.

Your main issue will be cost as most holidays at Christmas and New Year are inflated.

I would day Kerala in Southern India for a more tropical heat and a great experience but you need a VISA so that's out. Same for America etc.

Not sure why your cousin wants a beech tree - could try Fig Tree Bay in Cyprus.

Morocco is £600 - worth a go?
