That was the way I was thinking, but I grew up in Hampshire and I don't think the roof is right.

Herefordshire is correct, can anybody narrow it down even more? The village is on a river but not the Wye. The nearest small town will do.

That's the one, it is very nice village on the arrow river. The village up the road - Pembridge is also very nice. Well worth a weekend away in the area.
