Well it's:
89 sq km as opposed to 367 sq km in Sheffield in area
220,000 populations as opposed to 551,000 in Sheffield.
So roughly twice as dense a population. But Sheffield is big in terms of the area it covers that't not looking a whole lot like an city. There are, however, a hell of a lot of trees.
I'm not doing MK down, aside from my tendency to hate all the roundabouts and junctions, the more trees anywhere can only be better, but the city with the most trees in the world is Johannesburg with around 10 million of them - over 1,645 sq km. Given that 20 million in MK is a myth.
I am a big fan of MK - a bit of a hidden gem, which is why I decided to start a business there. Anyway, I would hazard a guess that the area referred to is MK Borough - which is 300 sqkm. But I would love to know how the 20/40m figure was arrived at - maybe a case for More or Less.89 sq km as opposed to 367 sq km in Sheffield in area

It certainly feels like there are more trees in MK than Sheffield.
