Who doesn't?
Indeed, it's very close to my parents and my dad watched it this year (whilst moaning about bloody hippies). My daughter's studying prehistoric culture at school so I took her there a week ago to look round.

Did that grow out of that phoney Iron Age man series maybe 20 years ago? (the one where they all used to rock off down to the pub every evening!)
No it isn't.

That's a church in Malta isn't it? Where they had a bomb fall through the ceiling.

clap

You're on.

Mosta Dome was hit by three German bombs in WW2. Two of them bounced off the roof and fell harmlessly without exploding, the third penetrated the roof and rolled around the church floor also without detonation. The repairs are deliberately revealing.

I'm looking at that (I think) gangway to the rhs of the picture and putting it by the sea, and thinking it looks like a memorial and further wondering if it's somewhere like Murmansk where the Russian Fleet is/was based?

It's weird, it's modern but looks like some memorial. So not likely to be WWII, although it's could be constructed more recently for a episode of before.

It is wordage in Russian? Don't know really but looks that way. Belarusia speaks Russian, not sure who else does, most didn't

What else, well not much really, i'm a bit lost.

Henry is on the right track.

It is a more modern memorial, relating to a conflict which has a very modern relevance.

There is also the statue of a crying angel, which has very a very shiny codger as a result of a local tradition whereby newlywed brides give him a quick handjob.
