Does that mean it's not in Scotland or Wales? Or are you not saying?

My guess is Scotland but only because it's kind of tall and remote. Wherever it is - it isn't somewhere I've seen.
Look up Henry smile

Looks somewhat like a place a long way from there. Alice Springs, central Australia. Worth a (brief) visit if you are ever out that way.

Hadn't actually thought of that, but now you mention it.
Visited back in 2005 for a brief one night stay.
Saw the Ghan train passing through, lots of drunk locals and had a mouse in our dorm room that ate another lad's biscuits while we were asleep!

Yep, Alice Springs. With all the seagoing folk on here I thought one quite far from the coast might stand a chance biggrin

Henry has it.

Are we perhaps adjacent to Hyde Park?

We had a thread running years ago of how many countries one had been to. Once I'd gone past 60, I had to do a bit of head scratching and then thought of one I'd never been to.

Ireland.

Nope, never. Sad isn't it.

That's getting pretty close. This is a London central restaurant, if asked for somewhere to try that IMHO outclasses any other restaurant - the nicest I've ever been - it's this one.

This is the way in:

The Dorchester I think, but I don't know the name of the restaurant.

I'd say the Dorchester will do, it's the Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester (just by the Hyde Park) - one of only a few with three Michelin stars. Very nice and surprisingly human, not stuck up rubbish but very friendly and welcoming with amazing food.

Well the ferry seems to have Maid of Glencoul written on it, I'm guessing that is in Scotland but that is a guess.....
