I'd guess west coast of Scotland, simply because it's that side that has the ferries and the islands, but I don't know where.

We have a winner! Popocatépetl on the left, Iztaccíhuatl on the right (which I climbed the next day).
Mexico city is on the other side only 70km North of a rather active volcano.
