Henry, not latitude.

Further East than the Atlas Mountains (and a little further south) but Africa is the correct continent.
Oh Gawd, dumb bloke in operation here, you are on about the round and round one, not the up and down one!

So we are saying Morocco, Algeria, Libya or Egypt to be in Africa. We are east of Atlas, which is in Morocco. But then the others are pretty flat, I thought.

Maybe Libya? He says, guessing.

I'm confused! So was my up and down interpretation the right one?

Either way I guess we are talking about the East/West level not the North/South one, probably

Clue 1. The Bible, Quran and Torah all mention this place.
Any chance of Clue Two? smile

I can only assume we are in southern Egypt, the Sinai bit being on the Asian continent so ruled out by that, I assume. I guess the question is does anyone know names down there - I went to Abu Simbel once but that's probably the closest and no real help at all!

What was the name of the place Joanna Lumley went to when she was trying to find the source of the Nile?
Aswan?

Bill said Mt Sinai already up there...

(top tip: don't climb Mt Sinai to see the sunrise when you have got food poisoning. I had to be taken down virtually unconscious by camel)

Not very good at this am I? hehe So over to Bill then.

Funny you mention food poisoning. I received a bout around 12 hours after descending Mt Sinai. Not something one should experience whislt wearing a wet suit.

You can have a tour, if you try. OK, not sure if it's not organised by a U.S. person so you need them to apply and it happens depending on availability. Well worth it, if you can.
