I thought Gedi in Kenya, but the vegetation looks too sparse.
Then the whole weird stone structures in Botswana, but the image is too well built for them.
It's not Great Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe because you say it's not a Z, but looks like a similar methodology, so is it Manyikeni in Mozambique?

Seems I've gone from one extreme to the other. My last pic was The Matterhorn and was identified instantly.
