It is chiang Rai but Asterix is spot on with the location of the White temple.
The pics show prayer wishes, you can buy one and write your wish/prayer and hang it up A huge rip off, they have sold over 2 million so far!

Goa has over 63 miles of coastline with some famous beaches. Need's to be far more specific for me to concede.
