Load of them off the North Wales coast. Stayed in one salubrious establishment that had such as a view from the dining room. Seemed to be further out though so suspect this is not it or you were closer.....

Now was it Rhyl, that suberb of Liverpool or Colwyn Bay? Latter I think.

Yep. One of the small out building vastly type things. St Mawes is just the other side and the batteries that accompany them. Or rather remains and display pieces.
