In case anyone's wondering, that London Bridge is in Australia along the Great Ocean Road.

Looks train related, 49 miles from somewhere. How about the location of the great train robbery? On the WCML near Hemel?

Ooh, can I have a go? I got the last one, but I thought that it was now known as London Arch?

Anyway, not very exotic and maybe a bit nerdy?

Some patch of scrubland near a railway?

That sign looks like it is a cutting, but didn't the GTR happen mostly on an embankment (or whatever the opposite of a cutting is)?

That said, I cna't offer a better suggestion. Cna't even think of a significant railway location to have a wild stab.

By a wild combination of research, deduction and pure guesswork, I think it is Bletchley Park.

Why I think this:

Educated guesswork: LE is London Euston the C and the 1 I have no idea about so could mean I am talking bks.

Only interesting thing I could find on the map roughly 50 miles up the WCML from Euston = Bletchley Park.

Feel free to ridicule my nonsense.

I'm going to go with somewhere along the Great Central Railway from Loughborough. My deduction is based on it being the only notable railway line I know of, and that LEC could mean Leicestershire...

Was the thought that occurred to me, too, perhaps where the Top Gear crew filmed the XJS on rails?

Not Bletchley Park, but not far away! I didn't say it was interesting!

Flying Scotsman related?

Is it the place where the highest speed was recorded by a steam train?

Dull railway cutting somewhere in the South Midlands?

Is it a live railway of a railway centre like Bucks Railway Centre?

It is on a main line, but not the one where the speed records was set.

It's an embarrassingly mundane location, but I thought that there might be some railway types here who could place the sign. The logic behind the Bletchley Park guess was correct.

I think that's close enough, I don't want to prolong it!

I was on a train from Euston to Manchester and it stopped at Milton Keynes Central station. The sign was alongside my window!

Over to you...

Long Beach? Laguna? Baja?

(Exhausts knowledge of CA beaches and environs and is clearly pure guesswork...)
