I know there's other things to do in vegas, there's always families and stuff about. but for me (and most people that go to vegas) its all about- fun, drinking, nightlife, shows, gambling.

If I was looking for family friendly fun for the kids etc.... I would go somewhere thats better for that sort of stuff. not try and make vegas work, unless i was desperate to go play blackjack or poker when they go to bed!

Now that was a fun day, didn't make it to the GC, but had a great time driving the Vette (Brand new!) between Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and Fire Valley, what a noise it makes on full chat!!

That's me sold!
Time to plan a few weeks for next year or Autumn!
Under 3 weeks until i get over there with the corvette... can't wait!

Oh... how was the boot trunk space?

Since this is PH... I did actually comment on the boot space at the time as it is fairly small, but big enough for two large soft bags, plus bits and pieces. There's no storage in the cabin.

Got loads of thumbs-up from folk on the road, it's a real 'feel good' car and would love to have one back at home, although I suspect it might not be as much fun on UK roads, it is more of a GT car than a nimble sports car. Would also opt for the tin top to free up some boot space. It had loads of toys too, but the star of the show is that engine noise in sports or track mode, very addictive evil

Hmmm that's slightly concerning as i'm flying in with the missus for a 2-week trip and immediately picking up the car for the road-trip.

I might need to find somewhere to store some stuff for a week until i'm back in Vegas... hehe

We have done an 18 day road trip in a roadster (not the corvette)
Trick is soft bags, there is usually space behind the seats as well.

I take a camaro ss convertable for my road trips, next this June. I can get two suitcases on the rear seats, cool box in between, Tipee and all camping gear in the boot. Took the car from New York to LA two summers ago. My furthest in one day was 1400 miles in one day, not on that trip. A great car.

I was watching that Captain America: Winter Soldier film last night for the first time and was very pleased to see Scarlett Johansson rock up in a C7 Corvette biggrin

The noise was pretty phenomenal, so i had to pause and rewind the film, pointing out to the missus that in just 2 weeks that's the car we'd be cruising across California in... I can't bloody wait now smile

Pah!
We did two weeks on a Harley. Trick is just leave everything behind bar a credit card and phone charger.
It's very liberating to discover how very little you really need when the option isn't there.
