The GF and I are heading to NYC for a little break in June and I have been looking at these travel pass cards i.e http://www.newyorkpass.com/ . Are they worth the money and do they have any real benefits or am I better sticking to normal tourist style queuing

We used a 3 day NYC Pass when we were there in October last year, they are good if you've not been before and want to do the majority of the "tourist" things. In the 3 days we did - Empire State, Rockafeller, Natural History Museum, Madamme Tussauds (a bit st tbh), Statue of Liberty, Bike Ride around Central Park, NBC Tour, MOMA, Water Taxi, 911 Memorial.

I reckon we got our moneys worth out it tbh, its mostly always on offer around 20% off so don't pay full price for it. Order it on line and collect it one of a few locations when you get there.

I haven't used one before, so I'm not sure how it works with busy attractions, but if you look at something like the statue of liberty, you have to book months in advance to go up it. If I were you I'd look from now at booking the major things.

I dont like these things in general since they make you feel like you have to zoom around and see everything to get value out of it.
