Hello guys and girls.

Me and 2 friends are traveling around Europe in a motorhome, we travel through France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy and back home through France.

We have watched a few videos on YouTube and looked online but we can't find too many cool things to do.

We currently plan on Dunkirk, Amsterdam, Nurburgring, Monaco, the Eiffel Tower and Lake Como.

So PH what's out there to try?

Thanks smile

Big itinerary.

My suggestion is don't try to make it a "tick list" holiday. Leave enough time in each place to simply soak up atmosphere and enjoy.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Just the simple things, there's lakes we've seen people at, but I've found some of those.

There is a place in the alps I see people at just wondering in and under the mountains.

Outdoor clubs/party's look awesome.

I'm just after things people might have been to, as stuff we have seen doesn't really have a location on it.

Thanks again!

They dined on mince, and slices of quince,
Which they ate with a runcible spoon;
And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon,
The moon,
The moon,
They danced by the light of the moon

Lake Como is lovely. (Como the city itself is not..plenty of more attractive places around the lake)

Varenna is our favourite (less bling than Bellagio biggrin)

Moving on...

Grindelwald is a good spot to potter about the alps looking at mountains (the north face of the Eiger, specifically), the gorges du Verdon and Ardeche are spectacular and the roads south of Pau much quieter than other alpine passes (as are the Pyrenees generally).

The west coast of France has a load of gems, ranging from the up market Ile de Re to the Dune de Pila.

Rome, Pizza, Florence, Venice, Munich (BMW museum), Stuttgart (Mercedes and Porsche museums), the Rhine Valley, Mulhouse (French National motor museum), Massif Central, Ypres.
If you have 10 years of holidays you could see just some of Europe.

No need for the insults.

But seriously, saying you cant find many cool things in one of the most diverse and cultural continents on earth, with no real itinerary and no destination is very poor going. Pick up a map, look at somewhere and think 'do I want to go there?' and proceed like that. If you get suggestions you're going to end up doing what other people consider to be cool, rather than what you consider to be cool.

We could all give you suggestions of nice places. Go to France and explore Paris. Go via the Alps and enjoy the view. Go to Italy and enjoy Rome, Sardinia, and the Mediterranean coast. Head to Germany and see the Bavarian forests, the site of the Berlin Wall, and Hamburg. Visit Croatia and see the Adriatic islands and Dubrovnik.

Every single country has cool places in it, finding them is the fun. Underground parties, cool bars beside lakes, beautiful scenery, amazing restaurants are everywhere if you can be bothered to spend the time searching.

Hello all.

Thanks for the replies I'll check them out and see where we end up with it.

I'm sure there's lots out there, we've spent many evenings looking and places to go and things to see, but thought it was worth an ask on here. It's just I'd be pretty gutted if we had missed something incredible by a few km's because I didn't bother asking what people would suggest.

Anyway hopefully I'll get round to posting some pictures from the trip, thanks again for the replies!
