Anybody renewed a UK passport whilst abroad ?

I read today the passport office bods might be going on strike as a result of this fkwittery that happened. That won't bode well for a lot of people.

If I enter a country with 6 months still left on my passports and stay for a couple of months, can I then transit through another country on my way home ? Surely they aren't going to query my passport if I'm heading home ?

if you are only staying in teh transit area then no problems ....

hopefully not take too long .... just gone past the middle pages of my current passport in just over 1 year FFS!!!!
