You'll enjoy Chi Town, great place. If you like seafood try Shaw's Crab House on E Hubbard, one of my favourite places in the world. Another great place is Rick Bayless's Frontera Grill on Clark, a very different take on Mexican cuisine. There are loads of great eateries in the city though and lots to do.
Those both looks great but we only have one night in town and I think people want to go for a steak house (it's an all blokes trip)...might try and push for Shaw's though.

I stayed in the Palmer House Hilton for a week last year good location in the Loop just around the corner from the Park, Bean and Art Institute, luckily had an exec room so was a nice size, but the bar was the highlight for me..

Blue Moon on tap and the finest Bloody Mary I've ever tried, so worth popping in even if you don't stay.

As for restaurants Purple Pig, Joes Seafood and the Weber Grill was good and if you want something fancy then MK impressed me. Cocktails up the Hancock Tower is the same price as paying to go the the visitor floor but the Sears Tower is worth paying to go up especially if your a fan of Ferris Bueller.

Loved it even in the February with sub zero temps was a great place.

but IMO avoid the famous deep pan pizzas they are grim.

Looking a strong favourite right now. Wish I had more time there...been to a lot of the US and it looks like a great place.

Find a place called Cafecito if you find yourself around the south loop. Try their Cubano. Thank me later.

For steak, the only place I've been is the Capital Grille. It was really good, if a touch stuffy.

Ditka's on East Chestnut - rowdy, filled with Bears memorabilia and simply awesome meat. Bone-in ribeye and Da Pork Chop are outstanding and the man himself was in the bar, last time I was there.

And it's normally packed so would recommend booking, and he was there when we went although we only saw the cigar smoke as he went past smile
