hotel for stopover south of Lyon

I've left it so late that the places I normally stay in en route to the South of France are booked. Looking for something south of Lyon for this Friday (yes I know the busiest weekend in France)...
Close to the motorway : and its just me and my dog (that's a real dog and not some euphemism)so just somewhere to grab a bite and crash will suffice.
