I know there has been a lot of topics on Vegas and some great info from regular visitors. I have a couple of specific questions though.
My mum wants to see cirque du soleil and stay in a fancy suite in one of fancy hotels.
What's the weather like in April/may
I can do the cirque bit. But I'm not really experienced in the fancy suite and fancy hotels department yet. Surely there is a wealth of knowledge amongst our massive base of company directors
Then when we ship mum home after seeing a few lions and clowns
. The real holiday begins. 14 day road trip with the missus. That will warrant it's own thread.

One of the balcony rooms at the Cosmopolitan should have the Wow-Factor (view over the Bellagio Fountain).The other alternative to a suite is one of the many recession specials where condos were turned into hotel rooms (Trump, Signature @ MGM Grand, Elara @ Planet Hollywood, Vdara @ City Center, etc.)
