When you say "used to" get it, how long ago?
Is there just a fighting chance that prices have gone up generally?

I'm not sure they're linked. hehe

BA operated the LGW - MAN route as did jet2 for a short while. They don't have much to do with the train routes, I assume if demand has increased so has ticket prices?

There hasn't been direct flights from LGW to MAN for some time (possibly over a year) now.

Seems like good old supply and demand to me. They used to have a competitor, so had to be keen on pricing, and now they haven't, so they don't. What's the problem?

We all claim to be capitalists, until it works against us, when suddenly we go all Commie. You ask if it's legal, so I assume you think it should be illegal, or in other words, you want a command economy.
