Virgin or BA to Miami?

Having spoken to BA cabin staff on the route, they told me the BA planes are always full (because of code sharing, shared network and cruise traffic). You're more likely to find empty seats next to you with Virgin.

As both are pretty much similar in service, that would push me towards Virgin if I wasn't earning BA points.

Having used both into Miami and out I would echo BA planes being fuller on the return night flight. The only other difference is BA seem to ply you with more alcohol, Virgin need prompting for refills!

That's worth an awful lot! My last two night flights back I've been lucky enough to have three seats to myself. Bliss! Means you can lie flat (if a bit scrunched up). They were both Virgin out of Orlando though.

Flew back last night with BA on the 208 flight out of Miami, the plane was less than half full in the back section! Plane seemed very tired, sure it was turbulent but seemed every panel was rattling, by contrast the Airbus we shuttled up to Manchester in after was just as bumpy due to atmospherics but at least the thing didn't feel as if was going to shake itself to bits.
