Sports/Supercar Rental in Vegas

Afternoon all, I'm in Vegas next week (tuesday 2nd-friday 5th) and looking to rent something fun for a day and drive out into the desert. I'm renting a Ford Escape while we're out there as we are driving from California but would love to try a Ferrari/Porsche/AMG Merc etc. I know this isn't cheap at would budget probably $1000. It seems there are quite a few companies that do it over there but would love feedback from people that have actually done it. I'm only 24 but this doesn't seem to prove too much of an issue with some of the companies I've looked at so far. I appreciate it's a colossal waste of money but I have been saving for this trip for a while and want to make the most of it!

your age might not help , ive used dream car rentals for a viper , hertz will have porches , astons , v8 mustang /camaro

Sorry for the slight hijack. I've just checked Dream Car Rentals in LV and they don't have a Viper (ETA was it Hertz Dream Cars? Found it there. Double edit: no it's not there either.) Was this a few years ago?

To add a little to this thread. For $1000 I think I'd stick to the Hertz Adrenaline (or maybe Viper) and take advantage of the unlimited mileage to power off into the desert.

Or you could use the money to go to the Richard Petty experience at the speedway and blast around in a nascar. They are also starting a muscle car experience on the track but it's much shorter.

it was these folks http://www.dreamcarrentals.com/ and yeah im not seeing a viper , theres usualy ALOT of that kinda car avail to rent all up n down the strip so maybe just n see
