We were staying close by there last time, and reckoned that it was nicer outside of the Friday peak, although it is fun to see and experience the atmosphere.It's very different (more 'local') from the vibe around Holetown and surroundings, where we stayed on the previous trip. I can see that people might find one or the other not to their liking. All seemed pretty safe and friendly though.
