Missus and I want to get away over Christmas with our two kids aged 11 and 14, I've always wanted to see Norway and the fjords and wondered if a cruise (only way I'll sell the idea to the OH) would be a good idea at that time of year?
She will want to go somewhere warm(ish) and sit on a beach or by a pool (YAWN!) but she's always wanted to do a cruise so there's a slim chance...

Hurtigruten perhaps? Never done the west coast trip but would like to at some point.

Should you ever find yourself up here in a car 'Spiraltoppen' is worth a 15 minute detour on the way up to Oslo.

Norway has lots of tunnels, but this is special, it's basically a corkscrew up inside a mountain.
I'd been driving past it for years on the Motorway not knowing it's there.
