Off topic I know, but I'm looking to top up some BA Executive Club Miles, so if anybody knows of someone that sells these, please send me a PM.

Thanks!

You can only buy Avios from ba.com or avios.com. You can't buy/sell Avios from/to other people.

It's not a cheap way of getting Avios though. However, there is a 20% bonus just now which makes it slightly more attractive.

Thanks, but still very expensive. I know buying/selling is against the Avios terms, but I know quite a few people still do this successfully.

Sign up for the Exec Club newsletter as they often do sales. Recently they had a 30% bonus, worth keeping an eye out

I doubt they do it successfully, since it costs a lot to transfer them, and thats before they've charged a penny, plus you can only transfer someone 27000 avios a year (at a cost of £175).

Far better to ask them to book the ticket for you to be honest.

Sign up for a AMEX card. They come with sign up bonus points which are either Avois or can be converted to Avios. There is a minimum spend to get the points which ranges from about £500-£2k over usually 3 months (you get further Avois/points on this spend). This is a very cheap way of getting Avios.

There is a fee for AmEx cards, however AmEx refund the fee pro-rata if you cancel the card. Thus you can do your minimum spend, get the points, cancel the card.

Drop me a line if you want an AmEx referral - with a referral both of us end up with more points.

I'm going to Canada in a couple of weeks, first class, 4 of us, using Avois points most of which came from AmEx rather than flying.

Some good advice from others - you definitely can't buy/sell from others.
