Don't get me wrong 1st is very nice. But the difference between 1st & Club is the same as WT to WTP. For me the big difference is WTP to Club.
Personally I think First and Club is a huge difference. Infact if I had the choice with both ways in Club or one way in cattle and one way it First, then it would be cattle+First for me. How are you supposed to have a sleep without pyjamas?!?!
We'll have to agree to differ then! I only fly 1st where the deal makes the premium over club marginal. I'm flying back to the UK in 1st in a couple of weeks because it's only a few thousand Avios points more so meaningless. Going to Oz in 1st because the fare was less than Club at the time I booked. Otherwise I'd be in Club.

Are you flying to Oz from the UK? How much did you get your First ticket for?

Stuff like this baffles me; I have "no status" and I have never been in "F", in a Jumbo or drank champagne on an aircraft. wobble

I think it was 3500 return, out 1st via Singapore no plane change, back Club via Hong Kong. When I booked the leg out it was about 100 less in 1st than Club.

Just to add thats going out a couple of weeks before Christmas, returning just after, flights booked in June.

They're starting to run A380's on the SIN route

Pretty much my entire family and a lot of my friends sleep in various sets of F pyjamas from different airlines that I've accummulated over the years, as well as using my old EK leather style toiletry bags when they travel... even the family get some perks!
