Did i tell you I heard it from a mate?
no. I know from personal experience and others around us who have gone through the system and discovered just how many of these immigration firms are criminals who need to work with immigration/passport staff in order to get visas etc. the going rates is £7-9k of which just under £2k gets passed over to those "working within the system" .try and stay with reality for a few seconds of your shallow life . get out a bit more and discover the world rather than starting silly arguments . its seems so many people lack any form of real life these days .

so. stop telling lies to yourself. read and quote correctly and understand some people know a little more than you on the subject .

Ah ok.
It's just I thought you said earlier that it was all over the press and media, yet now it seems it is in fact just your personal experience and that of "others" around you.
Also intereting to note that whereas before you were labelling the Passport Office itself as corrupt, you're now referring to "these immigration firms" who are probably the ones telling you £2k goes to the PO employees. Did you personally ever hand cash to a passport official? If so, you're the criminal.
Sounds like someone got scammed and has a slightly bitter after taste from it all.......
wink

Well I've got nothing but praise for the PO.

Daughters first passport back within 9 working days, including me send the wrong certificate to start with.

My passport cancelled by accident, but they had a replacement to me within 3 working days smile

  • you're
Anyway, to save me looking any more foolish, and because mum's busy, can you please point us all in the direction of the press and media reports of corruption within the passport application process to which you refer?
Just telling anyone who questions what you say to go and look for themselves is usually the hallmark of bullstter.
I'd suggest you try to calm down a little and provide some actual evidence of being ripped off by the Passport Office and not by "these immigration firms", then you might get taken seriously. In fairness I did find an old page from the Daily Mail (rolleyes) regarding ONE employee who got caught trying to take a a bung but that was nearly five years ago.
Course the other issue is that if you got this angry and, let's face it, abusive towards the Passport Office it's no wonder you had a less than desirable experience.
I also find it very hard to accept that, given your tone, you're the non-working class non-pub goer you'd have us believe.

Your "shift" key appears to be broken. It's the one that turns little letters in to big letters like wot they should be at the beginning of a new sentence. Pleb.

Careful with the 'plebs' remark. You could find yourself in the High Court on the wrong end of a £3 million libel action.
