Prague must see stuff

I asked this question from a local when my 'rents visited last year and he basically says its all good
The particular highs of their trip were:
Charles Bridge
Just about any bar/bierkeller to the West of above
The church where Heydrich's killers went to ground was particularly sombre but may not be your thing
Cheers

Dinner and drinks on the heated roof terrace of the Hotel U Prince at the old square/clock tower - they do a decent steak and have great views over the City, recommended for night-time when the City is all lit up.

This. Also the street corner where the attempt to assassinate Heydich was carried out by Jan Kublis and Jozeph Gabcik in 1942.....although I understand the area has been re developed now.

The Czech 'Eiffel' tower is worth a visit. Stunning views from the top. Feeling the tower sway in the wind is also an interesting experience. Similarly the view from the tower in the old town square always takes my breathe away.
If war history is your thing have a google for Terrezin. A very sombre experience but equally fascinating. It was used as a 'model concentration camp' by the Nazis to demonstrate to the Red Cross how well they were treating people. It also held Archduke Ferdinand's assassin for a period.
There's a restaursnt in a converted bell tower that's apparently very good too. We didn't manage to fit that in.
Other than that the old town is always worth a mooch around. If you want to see the Charles bridge do so in the morning as it's rammed later in the day. It's also full of street sellers which I'm not wild about.

Just returned, really enjoyed our few days there!
Decided to stay at the 4* hotel at Slavia Praha ground .. few people said its to far out but 20 minutes on 22 tram and we hit the centre. Having Tesco across the road was a benefit aswell at 3am when arriving back from the bars haha.
Managed to visit the "shopping outlet" which was quite far out from the city. quite cheap aswell.
Will be returning at some point
