Hello all!

Im getting married on the 8th August this year, we have a proper honeymoon planned in 2016 (American road trip, san-fran to florida)

However, we are after a mini break directly after the wedding, probably 2 nights, Sunday 9th till Tuesday 11th, I'm thinking a countryside Spa hotel or a little cottage with an open fire and hot tub or a hotel with ocean views and balcony/roof terrace, you get the idea.

It has to be about 2 hours driving from Berkshire, and id say a budget of £300 a night.

Any ideas?

It's a little over your budget, but I'm looking at Spitbank Fort right now. Looks epic for £500 a night all inclusive.

We actually looked at having the wedding at no-mans fort, so I know them well and do love them, but we are after somewhere where we can go exploring, walk along the beach etc, rather than be trapped on a manmade rock with other guests/staff laugh

Cool idea!

You wouldn't want to be cooped up with your new misses! hehe
