Ferry Genoa to Sicily

Anyone used this route? We're going late May. I'm wondering how reliable the timings are, particularly arrival, as it's not scheduled until 19:00. Although it's a 20 hour crossing we're being stingy and have just booked seats rather than a cabin, so we'll probably need a decent nights sleep when we get in to Palermo. What's the food like? Let's know if you've been. Thanks.

Did it in reverse. Was fine. Book a cabin otherwise it's a looooong crossing.
