One week and I'll be on the A26, just heading past Reims, destination St Sorlin d'Arves. Never been there before but the cams look good, 50cm forecast this week and possibility of another metre whilst we're there. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas
Also forecast for high winds, so most lifts will be closed.Silver993tt said:

Was in Saalbach this time last week and will be in Morzine 2 weeks today, can't wait.
How do you manage to get the time off work / unless your a well built company director Forecast for the northern alps is looking pretty good with heavy snowfalls between now and the weekend, and then sun/cloud next week
Hopefully get a couple of sunny days, as I'm picking up a range of skis and have some clothing being delivered for test and review, and it would be nice to have some good shots of them in use

what skis are you getting? have you tried the dps cassair 95's?
Testing the range from Meier, a small Colorado based company that do hand-made skis using locally and naturally sourced wood (ie not felling trees FOR ski manufacture, but using wood acquired from the forest management process)I've not tried the DPS Cassairs personally, but both those and the Wailers are excellent skis from those I know who have tried them
It is worth getting the Pure rather than the Hybrid if your budget can stretch
