Ok if we're going for a bit of tongue in cheek willy waving.
Couple of years ago in Solden, none of that two plank stuff though, boardings the only way forward

Best I could manage this season - had a ball though, and think I'm too old to go for high top speeds now./fearful of coming off.
Where's Benja when you need him.... think he might trump the lot of you skiing willy wavers, he does skin tight rubber suits with a bellend helmet for extra thrust on 45 degree slopes at 150mph hehe
More willy waving! - The Flying Kilometer wasn't open, so I could only achieve this Vmax on piste. wink
That's about the limit I'm comfortable with, without a closed piste and safety netting.

That's very impressive!

I didn't manage to get past 90kph today and interestingly also loads of gendarme on the slopes who (so I'm told) will take your ski pass away should they feel you are being reckless and dangerous.

I'm in Welsh's territory for speed - max I hit was a fraction under 70kph, plenty fast enough for me!

I do love letting the skis run fast but it doesn't really require much skill, apart from a good stance, flexible/subtle legs with enough power in reserve to pull up quickly if required, and awareness of other slope users. The speed is typical of a mens' downhill run velocity.

My son followed me and happened to GoPro that particular run, which was kinda cool watching back.

Just booked Courchevel 1850 for 2nd April. Not been this late in the season before so fingers crossed for good conditions.

There at the moment and up until now conditions have been good. Rain is forecast for the next few days with a freezing level up to 3000m and very warm yesterday pm meaning most pistes were getting heavy pm.

Thanks for the update, sounds like we need to pack the T-shirts.

Yep not worn anything but a thin merino top and jacket all week. Pistes are relatively empty although had an influx from other resorts today due to their poor conditions. Meribel closed today and some lifts closed due to high winds. Need to be up early to get the best of the conditions

Skiing with an instructor friend, she said let's crank it up and have a wee play on Bochard run in Chamonix.

Having a great ski in Avoriaz for the Easter holidays. Plenty of snow about, fantastic weather and quiet(ish) pistes. I can very much recommend this time of year, especially to families. Plus it's much cheaper this time of year - accommodation and ski passes. Portes du soleil passes are free for kids at the moment.

Plenty of road bikes out an about as well, so you can ski in the morning and bike in the afternoon.

It's turning a bit slushy here in Mayrhofen. The weather today was hot so I'm presuming it will get worse over the next few days.

I think I'm probably done for the season, unless I can sneak out for a morning this weekend. The car will be going in for its summer tyres to be fitted soon, so I guess I'm waiting until November to see this again frown

I am off to Val D'isere this weekend for four days on the board and snow is predicted for virtually the whole time so happy daysbiggrin

Late season can sometimes deliver the goods and with the whole resort and lifts open and a very solid looking base this should be good. The only downer is that I have to leave my house at 2.30am in the morning to get to Gatwick on time

It's VT for me this weekend. Very civilised flight from MAN at 13.35. I will leave the house at 11.35. I honestly think I wouldn't do the holiday if I had to lose an entire night's sleep to get to the airport on time.
