Manhattan Apartment

just wondering if anyone here owns a holiday property in Manhattan and can share their experiences of it - I'd like to spend 3~ months a year there ideally but most likely won't be looking to buy for a few years. I hear services charges and taxes are pretty high there but the market has is fairly settled at the moment?

There are strict laws in NYC about short term apartment rentals, so check if your trip would fall foul of those. (eg. things like AirBnB are banned)

I've actually used airbnb a few times there without any issue.
my idea would be to own the apartment and enjoy the flexibility of being able to fly there at short notice etc
