Are you likely to receive a better 'service' if you pay more or are they all pretty much the same?

Flip-flops, swimming trunks and a few T-shirts aren't going to cost thousands to replace. I'd like to be able to access my cash if I lose my debit/credit cards but that's about it really.

On the comparison sites I'm being quoted anything from £15-£500 for annual cover in EU and apart from £5m medical to £100m there's little obvious to differentiate them.

Any recommendations or just choose the one that's not quite the cheapest. paperbag

We only use Post Office travel insurance, based on our experience of having to claim for medical payments (both for paid direct to hospitals, and reclaiming for doctors and medicines). It is not the cheapest, but has to be one of the best for actually being able to claim with the minimum of fuss.

Should mention, Rhodes is one of my haunts - as Greece may go pop at any time is there anything special I should consider?
