Looking to do a short (5 or 6 days) driving holiday at the end of July. Previously we've done Reims, Champange, into Germany for BMW and Porsche museums, up to Ghent and home.

Champange seems to be a nice place to go back, we only drove through it before, but amazing scenery etc.

Probably was upto 4 hours in the car a day, otherwise you don't get to see anything.

Ideas? Missus has said about est coast of France, I'm not too sure...

Right out west of Brittany is interesting, very rugged. Hotel at Pointe St Mathieu has a cheese trolley that is world class.

St Malo, Le Mont St Michel, Honfleur all lovely along the north coast too.

I've done a few euro driving breaks and I'd be tempted to say Scotland to be honest.

That said I've been eyeing up packages to hire a new or classic 911 and touring the Black Forest, or there's a south of France gastronomic tour in a Morgan...

Last time I looked France doesn't have an east coast. If you mean the west coast the roads get a bit boring south of Brittany

You're right, long day yesterday. West, WEST coast.
