I live in Haute Savoie, and have pretty much skiied the entirety of the resorts within 200km of Geneva.

That being said, the best all round resort I have ever been to has been:

Saalbach Hinterglemm
That's very interesting, as I'm going there on our lads trip next year, cheers.

One of the most positively fantastic weeks I have ever had on a skiing trip. Fantastic resort with so many runs. I think we topped out at about 85km in a day. Food is great, apres ski is great, people are great. It is also significantly cheaper than France, which in my personal opinion is st. Have a good time!

We're off on a full family chalet job to La Tania part of the 3 valleys but a nice quiet village. Or Obergurgl, nice and high in Austria, not a lift queue in sight and great family runs. Or Kaprun, steer clear of the glacier and head for the family run in the centre of town, or Saalbach is a good call too but can get busy. My vote would be Obergurgl, but don't tell anyone..........

I was considering Obergurgl, sounds good for kids, and I do like going to Austria skiing. I was looking at a trip there but decided on Les Gets in the end. When we go again I'll definitely consider it.

Do you consider chalet exchanges? Ours sleeps 12 and on the slopes and sometimes we swap weeks in other resorts if of interest. Mainly outside school holidays.

Sorry Paulo, just seen this. I am open to suggestions! We like visiting other resorts too, so all is possible.
I'll send a PM.
