I've got a Hong Kong trip with work in about a week. Staying at the airport hotel so will be getting the train into the city.

I am wanting to visit the Apple Shop at Festival Walk (i think thats the only store) and I want to visit Victoria Peak (photograph opportunity). How easy is it getting around as the Apple Store and Victoria Peak are on different islands? Reading the online reviews, a boat trip across the harbour is a must but only takes 5 minutes. Is it worth doing?

Any recommendations?

Thanks :-)

Apple Store is on HK island, very near Times Square on Causeway.
Take the tube to Causeway bay station and a short walk to the Apple Store.

I was there a couple of weeks ago.

I stayed mandarin for two nights on the way to NZ, easy walk to Apple Store. A trip to big buddha was a great day out, travel is much easier than say London, well for me.

There are four Apple Stores, two on Kowloon side and two on Hong Kong Island side.

The easiest one to get to is in the ifc mall. The airport express train stops at Hong Kong Station, which is in the basement of the ifc.

The Exchange Square bus station is also just over the road, and there's a bus that runs up to the Peak, if you didn't want to use the tram. The tram is good but the queues can be massive for it, so it depends on how long you have.

The star ferry across the harbour between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island is good and dirt cheap, but you can also just use the MTR metro to cross. It's really easy to use to travel all over HK. The Star Ferry also does a harbour tour which takes about an hour and a half I think.

Buy a return ticket when you get the airport express, as the return journey is free if it's on the same day.
